WELCOME, MEET Divine Explosion Arts Program " D.E.A.P."
24 Years And Growing
Divine Explosion Arts Program often shortened in speech and writing to D.E.A.P., is a Brownsville, Brooklyn based grassroots Non-Profit that focuses on youth development. Teaching independence skills including urban gardening, culinary arts, financial edification, tradesmanship, physical wellness & entrepreneurial skills. This while providing other community based programs & events for youths and families in need of food and resource support. This is how we "Sow into tomorrow today".

Mission
DEAP's over 24-year-old mission is to empower youth to become well-rounded, purpose-driven adults through creative engagement in the performing, creative, and culinary arts, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community outreach. We nurture communication, leadership, and life skills while promoting physical, mental, financial, and spiritual health. Through nutrition, agricultural education, and diverse cultural etiquette, we equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to positively impact their lives, their communities, and the world
Vision of Servitude
We envision a generation of inspired, capable, and compassionate leaders who embody balance, creativity, and integrity — young people who thrive in mind, body, and spirit and use their gifts to build healthier, stronger, and more united communities across the globe.
All of our programs aim to serve the youth, their families & their community. Whether through our “Emergency Pantry” providing needed food resources, or through our “Conduit” collecting and redistributing clothing, housewares, baby items and more or through our Arts program which provides performing, creative & culinary arts lessons that not only edifies but inspire and motivates youth & adults as well, DEAP is committed to positively impact our youths through service.

Unification and collaboration
The old adage says, "It takes a village to raise a child". In D.E.A.P. we believe in healthy collabs with likeminded people and organizations. This gives us an opportunity to diversify the services we provide to our students, while reaching other communities with our services, performances and resource distributions.
