About D.E.A.P

Divine Explosion Arts Program often shortened in speech and writing to D.E.A.P., is a Brownsville, Brooklyn based grassroots Non-Profit that focuses on youth development. Teaching independence skills including urban gardening, culinary arts, financial edification, tradesmanship, physical wellness & entrepreneurial skills. This while providing other community based programs & events for youths and families in need of food and resource support. This is how we "Sow into tomorrow today".

Mission

DEAP's 20-year-old mission is to provide youth empowerment programs that uses the Arts (Performing, Creative & Culinary), Agricultural edification, community outreach and more, to engage, educate & support the youth, their families & their community.

Vision of Servitude

All of our programs aim to serve the youth, their families & their community. Whether through our “Emergency Pantry” providing needed food resources, or through our “Conduit” collecting and redistributing clothing, housewares, baby items and more or through our Arts program which provides performing, creative & culinary arts lessons that not only edifies but inspire and motivates youth & adults as well, DEAP is committed to positively impact our youths through service.
